"Ribbon" Cloth T dress
I am interested in learning about the Ribbon cloth style T dress. I have seen traditional cloth T dresses where the breast plate is worn, however I have also seen cloth T dresses that are adorned with ribbon with cloth leggins. I am wondering where the Ribbon style of T dress originated, if it is also Kiowa, Comanche Etc....
I want to make a cloth dress for dancing and don't want it to be unacceptable. I am adopted Dine' and Cherokee with ancestory from an iligitamate birth of my grandmother on my fathers side. Not sure what tribe her bloodline is and no records exist. She was born in Welch WVA. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. S-gi Silverfeather Never too old to learn new things!
