Easy, Breezy, Beautiful NDN Gyrls!
Okay girls. I know that if you're like me, you've tried NUMEROUS materials when making a shirt. Here's a question: With the summer only getting hotter, which material do you prefer best that keeps you from melting?? I've noticed that even some of the sheer material may not be that great if it's not breezy enough. So fess up! What materials make you feel so fresh and so clean and like a covergirl???
:) Thanks!

try that silk essence stuff at joannes... it's light it's bright it's breezy and washes and irons easy... that's if you want a shiny shirt... my overdresses are all cotton.

I really love seersucker. Right now it is in some wonderful plaids. Thank God for cotton because I wore a blouse today that was nylon/polyester. Got it at Dress Barn. It was so cute, but damn, it stuck to my back all day in the heat and from the back it looked like I was wet! I guess I'll retire that one until it gets cooler!

shoudl try that dri fit under shirts - keeps you from sweating to yoru shirt
plus it keeps you very cool too they also make shorts very nice so material is not a matter to me anymore - but do not like heavy material

I remember a few years back, when it was really hot some older women at pow-wows had lace shirts that they would wear over tank tops. They would wear these during the day to stay cool and then switch to their regular tops in the evening. Not the lace that is really see through but is kind of thick laced. They would wear matching tank tops and it looked fine. It just looked like they had lace sleeves but they stayed alot cooler.
