Tribal or Pow wow

How many of you and if you have pics - stilll wear your tribal dress at pow wows and compete in it?

and how many have adopted some of the pow wow dress into your dress?

I.E.: t-dress, or buckskin with fringe, big ribbon work, crowns, breastplates, ......

I still wear my tear dress occasionally, but now my lil sis has made me some shirt and skirt outfits that look good but do not yet carry anything of my tribe, jsut designs on them

You can see my pics in my gallery some in tear dress some in the shirt and skirt.

just wondering

I just wear my tribe's clothes to dance and compete in. I keep it to the traditional dress as much as possible as well. It's weird to see someone in an outfit that is a combination of different tribes. But that has always been the feeling with my family and friends I dance with in the circle. But I guess if someone wants to mix tribal dresses to each their own. I just know my family would kick my butt if I did that, plus I don't think it would be or look right....just my two cents!
