new year
okay ladies, we're on the verge of a new year, what is everyone looking forward to?
i know most of us are working on new outfits if not for ourselves then for family. fancystar and i are making a new grass outfit for my older son. hope to see some people over at statesville. plan to travel more this year may even go to some out west. would love to see crow fair, that would be the biggest thing for me this coming year. hope the new year is good to everyone and be safe this evening. D |

2002 year....
I plan to make a new dress but it's gonna take time because it would interupt with school .So i'm gonna take my time.But I have a whole new Idea for my new dress.And i think it will look ok but i'm not going for to much of a fancy look.:Rainbow

My plans for the New Year include giving birth, finishing my new beadwork, Making some new Shawls and skirts for my self, Traveling to more pow-wows and getting back in shape so that I can kick butt this year. I also plan to go to the Gym, yes the Gym, with Deltadawn and , gulp, actually exercise and ,yuvk, Sweat!!!

nope..... it's not froze over yet!!!!! making your son shawls and stuff? are you sure about that? got to go check out this site, be back later. Everyone happy new year and yikes we have snow! makes me want to move further south or back to GA. Man what an awesome site! way cool! thanks alot for this site! one thing I have found out about that site has caused me to remove the link to it.... It is supported by Ray Halbritter from Onieda. Due to the many fouls on humanity to his own people, I cannot in good consience ask anyone to visit that site anymore or support it.

this is one of the things that were sent out about this guy....
Ray Halbritter, self-proclaimed Nation Representative and CEO of the Oneida Nation, Inc. owns and operates the Turning Stone Casino, plus numerous other enterprises. The casino was opened by secret negotiations with New York governor Mario Cuomo, without the knowledge of the Oneida nation. He created a 54 member non-Native police force to consolidate his power on the Oneida territory. Halbritter has been removed from his position as spokesperson for the nation by his clan mother and the Iroquois Grand Council and yet still is recognized by the BIA and the state government. His latest attempt to gain control over the 32 acre territory resulted in the terrorization of Daniel Patterson, daughter of Masie Shenandoah, clan mother of the wolf clan. Daniel's trailer has been condemned and maybe demolished any time by Dec.15th. Halbritter has also: 1. Locked the doors to the Long House allowing use only for his appointed non-traditional men's council 2. Stripped the traditional Haudenosaunee of their voice and removed them from tribal roles, unless they agree to publicly accept his non-traditional dictatorship. 3. Banned photographers and reporters from the 32 acre Territory. 4. Used a 5.1 million-acre land claims suit as a bargaining chip to build more casinos, and filed lawsuits against landowners without the traditional people's knowledge or consent. Northeast AIM is calling for a boycott of this publication. ************************************************** ******** Ray Halbritter is taking a two week vacation and things have really slowed down here on the territory. I personally think Ray's tactics are to wait us out; hope that we leave, and go back to business as usual. But, there is always the possiblity that he wants to keep a distance while his GOON's do his dirty work. Oh, GOON's is what we refer to his police force. Oneida Nation Police (Guardians of the Oneida Nation). Fitting name because his tactics and sell out of his people reminds us of Dick Wilson. The shooting of his opposition would most likely happen if he thought he could get away with it. Anyway, I am here to see this struggle through to the end, and wish to personally thank all of those who have supported us in this struggle to bring Native Sovereignty back where it belongs - in the hands of the traditionalist.
