mocs & Legs

let me ask all you women out there-

do you prefer fully beaded leggings or beaded design or what

and the same for your mocs?

Me i like plain and simple - a design, not fully beaded. to me that almost seems to much, over powers the design if beaded all around it. but that is just me don't get me wrong i love seeing others with fully beaded gear, some awesome work out there!

anyone else?

Bobbie Jo is an unknown quantity at this point
I love the fully beaded moccs and leggings..but not on myself. You are so right, CYSA, there is some awesome beadwork out there and such beautiful works of art to see!

I prefer my knee hi moccs to be simple, with just a small beaded design.

My leggings, I paint small designs and use minimal beadwork. i.e. wolf paw prints .. or use small beaded appliques...I feel more comfortable in the plain and simple styles..

Uh oh, in one of the threads someone posted "do we think southern cloth dancers are boring".. I hope my Plain Jane statements don't make us sound that way ;)

I like em both... I have some leggins that have applique work on them, I've had some partially beaded moccs w/wraps and now I'm working on beaded leggin's and beaded mocs.

It's all good, I say. Some women back home bead designs on their muk-locs.. lol.. I can't even spell it right now! I've been thinking of making sum like that to dance in. They look really sharp!! Plus, they're totally warm in the winter.

CYSA... ooooh they are. I love wearing em. Some women back home wear when they go to the bush.. "out on the land" :p They keep ur toes nice and toasty. Plus, we wear some knitted socks... ya'll should see the designs that the women make back home. Juss purdee!

My niece has those muk-locs during the winter. She can run around alllll day in them and no problem with getting cold. Juss dry em at night.. and good to go the next day.

My point... they're really warm...:D
