movie review critic

Hey dudes, how come we don't have a place for movie reviews. It would save money if we knew movies were clunkers or not. We should see if we could get one going. Like all the movies not just the big commercial releases. I have read some of the movies reviews of some movies but not on a consistent basis. Let me know what you dudes think. I would be willing to do that on movies that I go to see.

SWING VOTE

went and saw this movie last night........must say that this is an awesome movie. it is by far one of the best movies that Kevin Costner has stared in and has some other good actors in it (ie George Lopez, Kelsy Grammer, and Dennis Hopper)....Kevin co-star, Madeline Carroll, did a really good job helping make this into the comedy that it's billed to be...the advertisments do this movie no justice as what they show is not what this movie is really about......... love how they showed how politicians really just tell us what we want to hear.........

JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH

as most remakes go this one is an alright movie but i will have to say that if i did not see this as 3D (as it was made for) then i would have probably walked out......this movie mainly has three actors in it........Brendan Fraser did a awesome job with the script that he was given, some comedy but makes it funny at times where i don't think it was meant to be........ Josh Hutcherson, an up and coming 15yr old, does a really good job ......... sadly the best parts of this movie were the 3D efects.......

i give this 1/2

Just went to see Longshots. Its a movie with Icecube and is about an uncle who has to babysit his 14 year old niece and teaches her to be a quarterback. She ends up leading the team to the Pop Warner SuperBowl. First female quarterback to do so. Its a little familiar but it is a good movie. Icecube does a good understated job. The little girl is wonderful. All the secondary characters make the movie.

i would give some movies reviews too but the last time i watched a movie in the theaters was E.T. and that was back in the '80s or sumptin.

I just noticed something.......VVVVVV.........any of you ever see the promo for Nicholas Cage's new movie Bangkok Dangerous?????.........I highly recommend seeing the original Thai version......story line is somewhat similiar, but the original one is better.........

and ya ... i hardly get a chance to get out and see movies too and to get honest opinions about movies is a must .. since its once in a blue moon that i do go and its usually to go see the latest animated one from pixar wit my babies LOL

Tropic Thunder sucked in my opinion. I guess I was expecting it to be funnier, but the funny parts were in the previews. So....it was kind of a bummer. But it ranked #1 again for this past weekend!

The Mummy 3 was good I thought. If you liked the first two you'll like it. I thought it was better than the first but not as good as the second and hubby though it was better than the second but not better than the first. *L* I like Jet Li and Brenden Frasier though...so. Anyway, it was worth seeing at the movies.
