im thinking of getting a little chihuahua for my friend. he used to have one named TIGER, but his girl friend took him when she moved away. TROOPER had a small deer leg in his mouth yesterday when i got home. and today he had what looked like a rabbit skin! no wonders i havent seen much wild life around. i knew RUSTY caught a rabbit last year....i sure hope a little chihuahua would be safe around those two dogs. BEAR never hurt any other creatures that i know of. i sure miss him.... |

hi yall im glad things are going well with all yall pets, you migh have heard that i put jubia down i wish i could have found a place for her to finnish living out her life but i could not. she went killer in the hood and she let me know it was going to be her way i dont know why she went back to her instinck after 7 years, i undrestand somewhat but living in a place where small children play i had to make a choise she fought in the end and would have made good on it if she could have.she called to me inspirit and a saw that i never let her know what could happen if she went wild i protected her always .untill the end.i know i did not teach her a nuff about living here and im sorry i choise to love her and not give her the chanch to see how her safe passage here on this plane need to be.
living with a wolf was hard on me and my family we were watch men everday. one small mistake could cause great trouble for meny.the mistake came every so offten.and she choise each time to run and then later to killl. rachel cought her the last time our heart were in outof our bodys i had to hold a bitting dog who was the wolfs object of intent i had newmona at the time i really was alread out of my body.its sad to know my limits and the coust of my love. the wolf took back her trust when she know time was up.it cut me deep to know i let her down and her spirit was her own but still she called to me. and i will alway miss her and look for her again. im sorry to speak of this but to walk with all of yall you need to know.

it was hard news to hear and hard for him to do. but there was no helping it. she had turned killer too, and would have destroyed the horses if she had gotten to them. we were just lucky the first time. i should have found a better home for her at that time. warm hugs from my heart to yours 2LINECARRANDMORGAN. im glad you shared your pain with us. |

Thank you ApacheFire for you words to me.i can injoy this thread again seeing other ppl pet and family members.i know also at one time or a nother we all have to face the heart brake of losing the campanship of a being that we love.
i like you its tuff to lose .and becouse we are two legged the responsablty lies with us. you have a very good friend who did when needed to be done. and my regaurds are with you. i dont know where jubia spiriti is now, some time it like shes still here not that i feel her, more like her memory so im reminded of her.i stiil have not gone to her pen or picked up her last droppings. i see the doors where she was working on.her space she still fills, gone is the alert watch the anstapachon of moving her between house and yard if all the doors are closed frist and that was no small feat, will she brake thro the fencing today how long today should i leave for.now in her place is the knowage that we have no wolf sleeping in the house with us at night gaurding us.or the joy of seeing her in happness of her place with us.only the dream of what could have been and the hope that she free now. i hear from a friend that has jubia son amadayis he got pup comming in a few weeks i pray to see them but to be able to walk away not to do this again. I think jubia grew sad with us not anuff family time and she did not want to be in the pen that the city said we had to have for her best intrest i dont think that is true i think she liked the 30 foot gide wire better in stes of a square 200 feet of pen . she wined when we figure out how to keep the gate closed to her getting out.altho when she did get out even when i was not home she did not kill ppl and somthing would always bring me back early to find her . befor school got out.or during a ice storm i guess she was not going to kill a humen being ever but i dont know what she would have done if she felt that she need to.ok im done speaking about my heart and jubia thank you from the space

i have a picture i am supposed to post in here of ANNIE FAWN and her pet, but this computer is starting to act up now and is being fussy. so i will try to post it another day soon. until then i hope you all keep posting those great pictures of your pets and sharing the things they are up to each day.
right now my RUSTY is out waking up the neighbors (4:20 am) barking at some thing or another. but TROOPER is snoozing away by the castiron stove. i have a rule around here. if you dont come running when i call you, then you dont get fed, or dont get to sleep by the warm stove! hey, its either me, or them. and i dont intend to freeze all night or day by the door! |

My first pet that I really loved was the bird (parakeet) that my dad bought me. I named him Henry. I was a teenager and he was given to me on my birthday. He had blue, white and yellow wings with the tips black. We got so used to each other, me cleaning his cage, watering and feeding him that I used to let him loose in my room and he would hang out in the closet.
He sang like all get out, and then at nite I would cover his cage so he would sleep. The next year my dad went with me to the mall and we picked out a female and a bigger cage for them. We named her Belly. So I had Henry and Belly. Crazy. I sure do miss them both. That was probably the best thing about my dad. He wasn't fond of dogs, he hated cats. But he said you can have a bird or some rabbits.

Yeah he's a big talker for a cat who is'nt siamese LOL! You can ask him questions and he answers back all the time or he let's you know exactly what he wants by rubbing on your legs and then doing this annoying high pitched yeowl and then running to the area of interest for him like the food dish or the water bowl or he's tattling on the dogs LOL! Most of the time he tattles on the dogs to my husband though. The cat thinks he's my husbands' or that my husband his his dog or something... either way we tell people he's the 139,000.00 cat who came with a house fortunatly.

our daughter who was 6 at the time named him Bobobob because Bob was the only name she could remember how to spell at the time and wrote it (or tried to) twice on the water/food dish we had set out for him. Otherwise the hubby and I were trying to come up with a name and he wanted to call him el Gato and I wanted to call him tuna breath.... so Bob it was or.. Bobobob and he came to that name from day one when called.

I love Blackbears talking cat! I have a couple here that could talk your ear off, lol.
I can't wait until you see the picture of our Lacy Lou that Apachefire is going to post, she is our Pitt Bull puppy. Sorry to say one of our birds died this week. We have been worried that his mate might also die, but she is fine. Just had to call the kid and tell her that he had died. She took it okay since he was 7 or 8 years old and a parakee which I think is old for a bird his size.
