hi BODICA! when you mentioned how large your cat was, i remembered seeing these photos online. now i dont know if they are doctored up shots or what, but i was amazed by them. does your cat look like these?

funny you should mention CODY has those cat like behaviors BAHNISIAIN. my LIL DUDE does that same thing. he stretches out with his paws down low and his butt up in the air! **Laughing** and he does it all the time. that and yawns! i never saw a dog yawn and stretch so much!

So Cute Neling!!!!

Jasper Pulled a muscle and has been hobbling around and limping all week. Got him to the vet today and they give him pain shot. Hoping that and pain pills will ease it up and he will be better. Poor Poor puppy :(

No, she's not fat at all.
Quite the contrary, she's pretty much all muscle.
She just a giant.
Seriously, if she was a human, she'd probably be between six & seven feet tall.
Consequently, she's also got very large skull as well; so she's very smart.

Speaking of dogs who act like cats...
Our dog was raised with only cats.
So when I visit my sister & she wants to play with my sister's dog, sometimes she sneeks up behind him, puts her front down, then wriggles her rear in the air, just before she pounces on him.
My sister says she's never seen a dog act like that, and neither have I!

Ginger is ten this month, Mr. Fluff is ten in June. Yes, both are sweeties, and yes, Mr. Fluff can be a naughty cat, but he doesn't mean to be. Both are very friendly, both of them love children, but adults scare Mr. Fluff.

I guess Mr. Fluff is a "talker". He makes a lot of noise when he is playing or wants to come up from or go back down to the basement.

My cat and dog have a bossy older sister and annoying little brother relationship, but they love each other.

When the pain meds wear off he starts hurting again. If its a tendon and he needs surgery i dont know what ill do :(

Consider yourself lucky.
My Patches has Basel-Cell Carcinoma (a malignant form of skin-cancer) and I can't afford chemo/radiation therapy for her.
So all I can do is watch as it spreads.
It started out as a little sore on her nose.
I got it removed at the vet's, but it came back.
It's gotten a lot bigger, and now she also has a growth on her ear, her leg, and her chest. :(

oh BODICA, im so sorry PATCHES and you are having to go through that! how much does it cost for the chemo? i wonder if there isnt a site that can help with people who have critters that are so ill, but cant afford it?...anyone?

Hey all...happy friday...I'm just dropping by...don't have any new pics of my Gus Gus but I do have a short story...

This past week I came down with some sort of stomach flu that put me down for about a day and a half. Gus Gus was determined not to let anyone touch me or come into the bedroom when I was sleeping. He would wake me up about every 4 hours to take some meds and when I'd let him out to do his business he was pretty quick to run back inside and lay back down with me. One of my frenz stopped by to pay me a visit and Gus Gus was prolly the loudest he's ever been when my friend tried to give me a hug. Today is my first day back to work and that little dog was not happy with me getting ready this morning. Went to get my shoes and he took off with one and hid it in his "room" under a blanket...go figure. Just cuz I was feeling better, he wants me to stay home...

This is Olga and her sister Mafalda. Olga is the one on the left. They're 5 years old and littermates. Olga is the alpha female of the litter and Mafalda is the runt. I got them as rescues when they were way too young to be away from their mother. Olga has gained weight since the picture was taken, she is now 15 lbs of..."personality." Mafalda is much more shy, but is by far the better huntress!

i finally found this thread . . . *whew* the search is over. LoL!!

i have a rottweiler pup . . . well, not a pup anymore, but i like to call him a pup. His name is Rex, he is about 4 1/2 yr old . . . i will have to post a pic of him later. yup, he's a loving and protective pup . . rex and my daughter (3 1/2 yrs) are always getting into mischef . . ill post some pix of that also

Thanks, Apachefire.
I asked the vet, and he said $500.00 per bout (round of treatment).
And I was so stupid, that I never got her pet insurence.
'Sorry I didn't reply earlier...
My youngest kitty (she's only 2) dissapeared a few days ago, and I've been worried sick.
But she finnally showed up this morning!
I was sooo relieved!
I took her inside, and fed her ham, tuna, and goat cheese (one at a time).
Then I gave her all the fresh catnip she wanted.
She's here in bed, next to me now.
My other three are wandering around the house.

my cody bear's lastest roaming into being smart is talking, and not your ordinay Husky talking. last wednesday night, dad came home from a VFW meeting, i told her that DaDa was home and she goes Woo?? (translation really?) i said, Really he's home she goes WOOO!!!!! (translation DADA!!!!!!). the next morning i was up early and she come bounding towards me and goes OUU!!! and started heading for the back door.

Ive had him a year now and even tho his whiskers had been cut short b4 i got him they are all grown out now =D
