Bahnisiain I love that pic! Do your dogs snore? Mine do and LOUDLY! Lacy was so loud one night in the living room while we were watching a video we got her up and put in her pen so we could hear the video.

oh i love it when dogs get really comfortable like your pic BAHNISIAIN. i can watch my dogs laze around forever. they just crack me up!

as for snoring ANNIE FAWN, i dont think i have ever heard my dogs snore. but i wouldnt mind that instead of their "pooting!". phewwwww!
they have this way of sneaking out those "silent but deadly" poots, that just make me clear the room pronto! gagging as i exit! they just seem to laugh at me! sometimes though they seem really embarrassed and try to hide! *laughing*

every dog i have had SNORED!! my Shadow would snort himself awake and have this expression of "dang did it again!" and go back to sleep. Cody would do the same thing but would go around the house looking for whatever it was that made her snort.

those moments of "pooting" as you put it, i call Critter Emissions. they can be rather extreme, almost to the point of removing paint from the walls.

*laughing* thats what i do, SHADOW. when my medical driver is taking me to my appointments i always seem to nod off. then i snort myself awake. so embarrassing! *laughing*

i duno if anyone has mentioned it but has anybody attempted making homemade pet(dog/cat) food? whatever they put in the dog food must be horrible to make them smell so bad when they let one rip lol

**laughing**BEGS. i have no interest in making dog food. they get to eat the bones from the ribs when i get them. and they are lucky for that. if they dont like what i feed them, they head off over the hill to my neighbors place. **laughing**

my neighbors collect strays. they always have around eight or ten dogs. its a wonder they all get along together. my neighbors keep about thirty pounds of dry dog food out for the dogs to eat. i dont know if they notice my dogs or not. but mine have fun with theirs. its like a play ground for them. the others used to follow them home, but i had to put a stop to that.

im thinking about making my dogs food and freezing it...hes only 4 pounds and lives INSIDE lol not like the dogs we had growing up but then again my dad boiled all the veggie leftovers(peelings-tops ect) n rice leftovers and even added soy sauce to it for the dogs in the winter time

Our Precious who lives in the back yard sleeps next to our deck doors off our bedroom, between her and hubby's snoreing there are some nights I wish they would get it together and other nights where I feel like they are doing it in suround sound. I have to admit that there are some nights when even Precious snores have waken my hubby up and he sounds like a freight train.

BROWN EYED GURL my mom used to make white rice with celery ground beef, salt n pepper for our chinese pug. the vet told her he needed that diet to get well. when other family members dropped by, they always ate bowls of it hot off the stove! it was really tasty. what a waste though just for the dog. we hardly ever got a hot meal during that time! my mom was on strike or something! **laughing**

ANNIE FAWN have you tried putting those 'breathe easier' nose things? those and a good pair of ear plugs ought to do it!

Hubby has a machine but he rarely uses it. I would be scared the dogs might try to eat the dang things.

well, it finally snowed a good snow up here. my dogs RUSTY and TROOPER are having a ball! they just love to chase each other or push their noses into it.

poor RUSTY though. he is a short haired dog and comes back in like a popcycle. they are lucky i have a wood burning stove they can warm up by. last night they came in and fell right to sleep. RUSTY was laying so close to the stove i was afraid he would singe his hair!

RUSTY is my stubborn dog, found abandoned near a small lumber yard. TROOPER on the other hand is my scaredy cat. he was found by the side of the road with his sibblings. he was sick at the time. TROOPER always hides behind RUSTY who is a great watch dog if he stayed around home! he just loves to visit our neighbors dogs. they always have about 10 abandoned dogs around.

the other day i was watching RUSTY when i let them out for a potty break. he headed right next door. the louder i called him the faster he ran! dang dog! *laughing* TROOPER just hangs back 99% of the time. but some days he tags along. TROOPER is a heavier dog and moves slower, so he likes to sit on the porch or laze in the yard. RUSTY is a lean dog always on the move. but he always does come back home.

Ya I have a picture of niki on my profile.. It was taken about a month ago when we got all that snow. Everytime it snow's she just loves to lay out in it all day long.
