Since several of you warned me that a jeep could be hard on the back and I have 2 degenerated disks in mine, I choose a Kia Sportage instead. It's smaller than the van I had been driving, can haul almost as much stuff as a jeep. Oh and drives like a dream! I found one thats automatic, less than 51,000 miles and only paid 8,500 for it from Carmax.com and it is still in WARRENTY!

I found it online at carmax.com and told hubby that I wanted a Kia Sportage, automatic, in dark blue. He said there was no way I would find one for less than 20 thousand that was automatic. I told him I could find one for less than 10 thousand dollars, then I showed it to him. They sent to the dealership nearest us, test drove it, and decided I wanted it.
Got a good laugh at the salesman who signed the deal. He kept talking to hubby, and hubby kept telling him it's her car, talk to her. Then when it came time to pay, of course he tried to put hubby's name on the title and both hubby and I told him it was only in my name. There would be no payment plan, I would be paying right then. This guy was so shocked he didn't know how to deal with someone who was willing to pay right then! He also didn't appericate me giving him a lecture in manners and on his behavior toward me during the sale. It was a used car, not a new brand Mercades, for goodness sake!

That sounds cool, is that a US site? I would like to have a car, but the idea of driving scares me to death

I don't have a drivers ID so I guess I should just shaddup eh?

Yep, it 's a U.S. site. I checked they aren't anywhere else, and not in all the states yet.
