Well, I almost made it. The 6-year-old and 8-year-old got it first, and they're back to school and doing just fine. The 10-year-old is still home, just can't seem to get her energy back. The baby got sick the other day, then acted fine on Saturday, but starting throwing up again last night. She's cranky this morning, but she's drinking and keeping stuff down. Hubby and I both got sick Saturday night. Hopefully we'll kick it soon.

Around here it's just a case of too long a winter and too many months cooped-up in buildings with the windows shut - germs just circulate from one person to another...

I'll be SOOOOOOO glad when spring gets here!

last yr we ate some bad meat and one of my bros lives n my basement and I was tending my hubby and kids with cans , wet wash cloth's cleaning mess's and "not to be too gross" I began hearin my brother so off I ran down there tend'd him I made that trip for about a hour! got him to bed , got kids to bed hubby to bed then I began to do major disinfecting then I was barfing lol, and they were so sick nobody to take care of me oh well rite diddnt need anybody come in wasnt a pretty site lol

Sounds like our house. There've been messes from one end to the other. About all I've done for the last week is mop floors and wash bedding and towels. At least the bigger ones can get to the toilet or the garbage can if they're going to throw up, but the baby can't. She made a mess in the living room last night - had to sponge the carpet real good and bathe her. This is probably the worst bout of sickness we've had. Most all other times only some of us get sick, but not all of us. I guess the good side is that the kids were mostly over it before I got sick. Hard to clean up other folks' messes when you're pukin' your guts out, LOL!

Unfortunately, us moms usually don't get the luxury of being waited on and pampered when we get sick - usually it's just business as usual - barf or not!

im a single strait edge... and im chaste....(2 reasons i cant keep a guy)
sometimes you have to live life as if what everyone else thinks does not matter, but is still a factor...
