hi all work have even out yea we beat the beast
yea .....we got a sweet spirit flowing around there, little snake is no more just a nice black foot woman that was adopted by a wolf .... way cool......we got a neat place happening
the boss is still out but all the employes have worked out stuff and there was some kind of spirit of scape goat under fire all the time but that got exposed and its gone for now.

Heya all!!!

See everyone's been busy.. jen's still working (YAY!), people have been visiting family (even if just for a short time), the weather has been weird nationwide (cold and no snow where there should be snow, warm and rain where it should be cold and snow, cold and snow where it normally isn't -that- cold and definitely shouldn't be snowing, high winds blowing everyone around), holiday preparations are goin' on, the bad guy got arrested, rezzin' had a birthday... all kinds of den news I missed out on.

M'gwitch for the Cruisin' for Christmas vote recommendation, jenn... but you or Migizi or Chevy or mots or ndnldy or wyo or any of those on the list all have very good reasons why all of you should win too.

As for me, it's been a strange, strange week. Wednesday the scheduler for the van service I use decided that I didn't need to be to work until 8am (my start time is 6am). His idea was the van would pick me up at 4:45am, carry me all over the DC Metro area pickin' other people up and dropping them off, and arriving at my work at 8am. When the driver told me and dispatch confirmed that this is what was happening I had them put me off the van. As Grampa would say "That dog don't hunt".

So, Wednesday I worked from home - which meant that I ended up putting in way more than 8 hours, but that is the downside of being salary and taking a day to work from home. I also put in some time having "words" with the afternoon shift scheduler (same guy that rescheduled my work hours for me) and supposedly it won't happen again. We shall see.

Thursday I had the chance to make some side money but the job was from after my day job until 9:30pm at night. The train didn't get to my station until after all the buses home were done running so by the time Manidoons and I made it home it was almost midnight. Miika and the Tank showed up at the rail station to provide an escort. The Tank has lights fore and aft so Miika's company was much appreciated for the mile and a half dark-and-foggy trundle home.

Friday I was up at 3:30am but bleh I had all the symptoms of stomach flu. There went a sick day out of the sick-day bank - thankfully I have a few in there. I spent 24 hours (nearly) asleep.... which brings me to today.

Woke up at 3 and felt GREAT. Did a couple of work things that needed to be done before Monday, wrapped all the prezzies I've been hiding from Miika and Tainee, did some mending, folded laundry, caught up on a day's worth of pw.com, posted some cookie recipes, and landed here to see what you all were up to.

whew... a full day already.

Hey Plumes - you ever get any pictures of that crown you were working on?

Migizi - saw your words for me on the Cruisin' thread. You are very kind, thank you. You and Plumes and several others have made me feel very welcome here on pw.com... some day when I make it back out to the ol' stompin' grounds we'll have to pick a powwow to meet up at.

Since all my chores are done and I've got my pw.com fix - I think I'll go work on some more beading. Hope everyone is havin' a great Saturday!

HI, BTW sorry to hear you were sick! but IM glad to hear your better. One never knows how good they feal until they feal like poop. We took the boys to see Santa, then had pizza at the mall. And tonite we will take them to see the light's. Yes Im done with the crown FINALLY!!!! My friends are going to take pic's for me and get them posted for me. I have no clue how to do that.

Great stuff! thanks...they are so beautiful...I've always wanted to see a white deer....I have seen a few piebald (white..mixed w/ some brown) but never a totally white one...

k i guess i should tell yall about my freindly neibors did come over tonight and all 23 of them the redwines brought their party to my house the familys that work for him wow
thay were so nice i felt like thay picked me and my kids to shear what thay had its wieard for me but not at the same time. what does one say to ppl who give out of there own need.all the women and little ones and men ewa thier was one tall one looked apche too me nice
as thay left i stood and thanked them and kiss the ladyes and toched the hands of the men in farwell
then thay all went back to the redwines home
and oh
mr red wine stood in the center of my home and said what ever i need jusk ask. all i could do was bow my head in silents
