Ever hear of antivirus software and spyware software ?Believe it or not it's ok to have that type software on your computer. Do a google seach for spybot, spywareblaster, and spywareguard for starters.Download and install and update, then run spybot.Next go to www, grisoft.cim and get AVG7-it's free and effective. Run a google for AntiVir-Personal Edition and get it. The AntiVir and AVG should clear,or quarantine any viruses

Ok... MOST if not ALL them messages you recieve that say your accounts are going to be closed unless you go there using their provided link ARE FAKE. You probably just gave someone alot of personal information about yourself if you clicked on their link and filled in the blank fields.
http://www.yahoo.com/ that's yahoo's main page... at the bottom it looks like this How to Suggest a Site | Company Info | Privacy Policy | Terms of Service | Jobs | Advertise With Us | Help Copyright © 2005 Yahoo! Inc. All rights reserved. Copyright/IP Policy. use them to contact yahoo.. read their privacy policy and then some.. there is more on this page too, but those will probably be your biggest help. NEVER and I repeat NEVER use the links provided in emails from places you have accounts at. Go to your own saved direct links from the websites main pages. There is alot of fraud out there and they are getting better and better and more ligitimate looking all the time.

Ditto on what BB said. Alot of letters are "phishing" in order to gain access to your account information. I've gotten plenty from ebay, yahoo, paypal, different banks, etc. but never responded. If you get one of these definitely get in touch with the company but NOT by clicking on the links provided in the emails. Oft times they will request that you forward a copy of the email so they can analyze it. Just be careful. Oh,,, and don't open attachments from people you don't know. Doesn't always prevent contamination but any little bit of info helps.

i went to the yahoo page and all i could find was the report spam page, so i sent them a message with that. It seems like my computer has been infected now! I better get busy here......... |
