DANCING POWDER:
Under the autumn moon you can see her silhouette. casting fires, smouldering smoke signals dancing powder raised high. singing cultured songs of the past. tribal feathers placed in her hair, bells ringing with each stomp. blessings to the father and mother and to her gods. white buffalo sees all that she is. bear that roars from inside her of her silent prayers. rapid water is what she is called. crying of fallen father from long ago. UNTOUCHED: LONG ago the moon hung in its height of silver in her eyes. many moons have passed and have faded dull as the dust builds from the ground for each days path that has been walked. garments are worn, but not as the sight of her seeing far into a mirage. casting mirrors reverse relflecting tithes, she soon will want to pass over. the lines refuse to come upon her face , she still holds tightly in her death grip to not let one essence fall from her tiny hands, as water to these lines of path that drop one at a time, she hasnt opened her dream to see if it still looks the same, for in her heart it REMAINS. UNTOUCHED, her memories fill her, untouched they build within her, untouched by love that has passed. still to this weary day, she remains in love to him today, and still today she is untouched.
