Beat Down...what would u have done?

Hey ndns!! Happy Posting!

I'm sure some of you have seen this already, and for those of you who haven't check it out.

What would you have done if you saw this happen? Would you stand around like everyone else? would you step in & help someone out?

This is just so damn ignorant, and sadly there are MANY MANY people out there who act this way.....maybe even some of you! hahaha...jks, but check it out & lemme know what'cha think!

IM SORRY!!! I dont know what i did wrong, but now i cant get the link to work either.....sheesh!

I'll try to break it down for ya:

It's video footage from a pizza place. There's a line of guys waiting to place their order & this chick walks in & cuts to the front of the line. This guy in line gets on his cell phone, calls his fiance & says "It's going to be awhile because someone just cut in line".
The woman that cut in line, starts yelling around, causing a scene & her & the store clerk get into a shouting match at which point the woman walks up to him & spits in his mouth!
By then the womans boyfriend, this huge dude walks in & goes straight for the guy on the cell phone & punches him square in the face! Not only once, but manages to beat this guy in the head 7 times while everyone else in the store stands there watching the man get beat donw. There's at least 5 guys in line, just standing there watching, INCLUDING the store clerk....all of this is going on while the woman continues to talk smack in the background!

The guy who got assaulted was knocked out by the 1st punch & couldn't remember anything after that....

That's frickin' awful!!! No one even tried to stop him from beating on that guy!! BUT then again... that Dood was huuuuge!!

I think I would have ran outside... I've been in the wrong place at the wrong time.. a few times!! It ain't nice!!!

I think it's obvious that guy was thriving off of intimidation factor....maybe that's why no one stepped up, he was huge! I think i'd try my best to do something.....but then again u gotta ask yourself "Self, is it really worth risking your own safety?" sometimes it is & other times maybe its not.

Some peoples kids....

I would have stepped out and called help for the man but other then that ......Seen people get killed for breaking up fights. Innocent people. sad actually.

i would have been on my celly so fast for 911 and running out the door - you never know they coulda had a gun.

if you are ever in a fight with a person bigger than u go for the knees if you can. kick em out..most bigger people have bad knees from carrying around the extra weight. then they drop if you get it right..

worked for me when ever i got into a fight with my much larger sister when we were younger...jks!!

but this is what are society has come down to ...spectators who do nothing...i remember when i was younger this woman was RAPED in front of her post office and a group of people (10 or so) just stood there and watched the whole thing. meanwhile she's screaming for help no one helped her...they were all charged also.

I would have called for help.. no hesitation before the BF walked in... the initial assult was fron the woman... that alone calls fer interjection by authorities... But yes it sickens me that people just stand there.. we have created a society where bullies think they rule they go around causing trouble and the on lookeers become afraid and dont do anything... the more we turn our heads at violence the more it is gonna happen.. DID you know we are prolly the ONLY species in the world that willl turn and run in a different direction when a another Human is being attacked physically? Kinda makes ya gooo hmmm ....

But then theres another side... we ask ourselves what will the police Do anyway?? They have displayed such ignorance in the past that we have lost our faith in the very people that claim to want to serve and protect.

So sad how the Human race has evolved.. and we think we are gettin smarter?? LMAO dont think so...

YUP, i agree w/ all of you.....saddly these are the kind of people that perpetuate the stereotypes so many would like to get away from....it's just ignorant behavior!

Good advice on taking out the knees CHAZZIFF....you made me laugh, cuz u know this out of experience......from beatin on ur sister! sibling rivalry....we've all been there!

Angel Feather makes a good point as well....i've had this discussion w/so many people regaring police & whether you feel safe or nervous in their presence, most said their initial reaction is nervousness & fear rather than feeling safe because an office of the law is around......

Its tough being in that situation though. My cousin stopped a guy from beating on his girlfriend and then the girlfriend started hitting my cousin with wrench. I'm not a huge guy but I don't think I would want to help anybody anymore nowadays. I got jumped when I was a cab driver and then when I got the better of the guy, the police wanted to charge me with assault. The guy punched me twice and then I hit him back and knocked him out. Anyway, I was scared cause the night before another cab driver was stabbed to death by 4 youths. They were all NDNs and so was I. I asked the cop if I was white would that have made a difference. He got mad at me and I didn't want to go to jail so I quit talking. You never know what's going to happen and you just hope you make the right decision when it does.
