I know, what a mind screwing experience. I wanted to know how ur dealing with this love issue, may it be the person of your dreams, your car, your kids, your parents, your feet......
Give me a clue how you knew it was love.

I have been through this concept over and over. I realize what I thought was love, is what I was taught as love. Which is misconstrewed as money and gifts. I give and give, and get a headache, and empty pockets.

Now I have to learn what love is again!

My perspective of what love is, came from my mother. Which she showed by buying gifts and giving me money. Now I have this misconception, and have to learn again what love is to me. Not what I was taught.

Love? That's a tough one. I've learned that loving some one and being in love are 2 different things.I still love my husband- but I'm not in love w/ him any more- mostly because of the things he did to me or just things he did in general to make me lose my trust in him. Trust is important in a marriage and I know that I will never trust him again- that's why we're getting divorced. I still care about what happens to him- but I cannot be in a relationship w/ him because he has driven me insane w/ his lies and b.s. stories. Love is hard to define- like these girls who are stuck in these abusive relationships and won't leave because they're 'in love'- love ain't gettin beat down physically and emotionally- what is it? I believe that no matter who you're with if they make you feel safe- and you trust them-if they make you feel happy- if they make you smile everytime you see their face- I think that's love- Me and my husband use to have that-but it's long gone now..long story

Totally, I still get all giddy inside when i look at my hubby and when he phones me or when he holds my hand or grabs and kisses me in public. Hubby and I have been through alot but we managed to be able to keep the love alive for 16 years. It is hard to explain tho you just know that its love because those feelings ONLY come when youre with that special someone.

I have been burned many times in the past.....but i knew that my partner was the one when i saw him.....it took us three years hook up.....we have been to heaven and hell together......we experienced the loss of a child and now we are trying again......i cannot remember a day when we had a large explosion fight......come to think of it......we don't fight.....we do our best to keep each other as happy as we can......life is hard enough......why make it harder with fighting with the person who sleeps in the same bed as you
