Fragrances........don't they just spark up the nostalgia???

Points for discussion/info. to share/opinions/descriptions:

*What are the scents that bring back pleasant memories?
*What's the name of your favorite cologne/perfume?
*Describe what your favorite scent smells like.
*What cologne/perfume do you find repulsive? Explain.

I like the colognes/perfumes that are clean, fresh and light......mostly citrussy scents.

Freshly lawmmown grass reminds me of my childhood growing up in winnipeg, and so does this shampoo, breck i think. can't remember.
i dont wear perfume much but i always ask for samples in the drugstore and carry them around. comes in handy if there's a smelly person on the bus, then kinda spray on my wrist and sniff, or if they aint looking a quick squirt.. i like that new j-lo one... mostly like something oriental... i used to wear chanel #5 when i was like 20...lol..thinking i was so grown up... i like it when men wear cologne...:)

What kind of cologne ....may I ask? Oh yeah...I like it when I'm bounce'n thru the hills on my tick up truck and I get out & it smells like sage brush.

My favorite smell.....after the rain in Wind River country.

I hate old lady perfume!!

Fresh cut grass, i agree with Mots, and freshly brewed tea and apple pie, reminds me of my maternal granny, I wear *gurl smellies*...lol...My fav is Obsession By C.K., my fav *man smellies* are well duh, Obsession and Hugo...yummy..I hate the smell of beer...lol..and slough(sp?) water:D..oh and i h8 old spice and brut, reminds me of my dad..LOL

ol lady perfume... any kind of cologne i suppose , it just shows that the guy cares a little about how he is presenting himself and it makes my head turn..as long as its not old man cologne and not over powering.

.... okay my grandma was living in an ol folks home downtown, (im talking downtown!) and i bought her some old lady perfume and i went to go visit her the next couple o days and i looked at the perfume bottle and it was empty and i asked, "grandma what happned to the perfume i just bought you?" and she says, "oh bill drank it". i couldn believe people could drink perfume cuz of the smell... ive heard of other stuff...oh well..kinda sad enit.just thought id share...i have to go downtown and get some money people owe me... im talking downtown!

Hey, there was this old white whino(sp) he used to bathe in the slough(sp) by our house, he used to drink "Aqua Velva"...im not kidding, he was really scary actually.

Yeah...I guess some can't tell if the scent is being noticed---so they make sure it's noticed!! The kind w/ a pump spray is good then u always know how much you are putting on. I think some guyz see the commercials where those dudes r splashing it on...so they think that's the norm or somethin'. Too much of anything gives me a headache!!

Hmmm scents that triggor memory,

Well i love the smell of rain but it has to be the kind of rain ya get in hot weather reminds me of the days whne i grew up in Arizona.. Loved the hot rains...I also love the smell of burning Sage after my mother in law has smuged, guess thats why i love to smudge my house just seems to make the home more peaceful.

As fer perfumes well anything that is soft, like baby soft perfume prolly cause it kinda smells like baby powder, I hate the smell of Obsession it is waaayyy too strong and reminds me of old ladies, I also like fragrances with a hint of Jasmine in it. I agree too much of any kind will totally turn me off and i go running or ill make sure the person that has it on knows that they have invaded my smelling space, like saying real loud ewww can you smell that thats just sik!! LOL...

As fer mens cologne, i like addidas fer men and other sports kinds as long as they are used in moderation, I use to buy this stuff called Santa fe fer my hubby and well lets just say we always had a good night after going out :P And it definately shows that a man cares about thier appreance and hygene when they use it as long as they use it right, no splashing it on like they bathed in it.
