SGT. T injured

Hey everyone, just recieved word that my cousin got injured along with four others by a homemade bomb in Fallujah. There humvee got blown to shyt and they were med evac'ed out of the field. Please pray for him so he can recover from his injuries and come home to his wife and three daughters. He is serving with the 3rd Bn. 1st Marine Regiment with 1st Marine Expeditionary Force in Fallujah, Iraq.

Man, I feel so bummed out today. I feel as if I'm letting my brothers and my best friends down being at home while they are fighting in Iraq. I don't feel as if I've done enough............

i was really trying to put myself in your places and i know i can't but i know i would be scared, worried, under pressure... feeling helpless at times maybe... proud, have sense of comradeship.... my prayers will be with you guys... and you dont have control over a lotta stuff...and you are doing your best if that is watching kids, taking care of business, praying or other stuff... just remember that people do care and are thinking bout you all..and the creator.. sincerely, middle of the sky woman

50, you are doing your part, right now it is taking care of your little one while Echo serves. Keeping the home fires burning IS important. My prayers are with all of you.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I just got off the phone with his wife and she said that he had a tracheotomy done yesterday so as of right now he cannot speak. His daughters have taken the rest of the week off of school and they are all trying to keep busy. Thanks once again.......

Hey bro, are you still coming to the Rock Point Veterans Day powwow tomorrow? I plan to leave super early in the morning and try to get there in time for gourd dancing.

I imagine that traditional ceremonies have been performed and will continue for Sgt. T.

50 My prayers for your cousin, Echo, you and for all the men and women that is over there fighting for us. You are here doing everything in your power to keep the home going and that says alot! I know you'd like to be over there fighting along side our people but for now you are needed at home and at home you are. You have a very big job on your hands here, besides you can't be in 2 places at once..I wish you and yours all my best.. The United States Military ROCKS!!!

:guns: I often think & Pray for those brave men & women warriors who are currently serving in the military world, although I'm not a vet, my niece was in Iraq last year and feeling of helplessness and agony of what is going on over there is just downright awful, I pray for peace which looks beyond reasoning, but I always Pray anyway!!! What else can this civilian do....? I thank our Creator that my niece Sgt. McCusker made it home.

It's been ages since I logged on, but the internet out here is so slow. I thank everyone for all your kind words, sometimes when we are out here we wish for kind words like that, even from people we never met and it means so much. it lifts everyone's spirits. I miss my baby at home, plus our little girl, but I'll be coming home soon. As for Sgt T, he'll be stateside next week, but will go through alot of therapy and rehabilitation. I'll tell you all the Marines in Iraq, plus the soilders, airmen, and sailors are doing a damn good job. It takes alot of guts to be there. When the fighting in Fallujah started, all the memories of last year kept flashing in my head. I have been around here a long time to know, the effects of war. It gets to you, mentally. I may not agree with alot of our government's plans for us, but we go out everyday, whether we are sick, tired or hungry. We keep marching everyday...............for our family, our country and honor. It means alot to say that and I'm proud to say that for myself, my husband 50, my daughter and my family at home who flies that American flag proudly. If you believe in that pllight, thank you. If you don't agree with our president at least agree with our mission in life............that's a mission for ourselves. I just wanted to say those words, because alot of people need to know what it's like. I got to go, but I'll be home soon. I'll see you all this summer on the powwow trail. Bye for now.
