TV show/contest. I knew there wouldn't be any natives in the finals for this dumbass contest. i woulda thought big bear, louis riel or tommy prince or any number of exceptional natives woulda made it..oh well...

Don't feel bad, We still have the National Aboriginal Achievement awards. Maybe we can write in and have them put that in the program and see if we can get recognition for the Indians that have really made a difference in this country. I can think of Chief Joe Gosnell who stated eloquently for the Nisga'a people that he still sits and lobbies for "the people" and he has seen at least 6 different premiers sit across from him at the table. He said he was a young man when he became involved and he is now in the Fall of his life. Its comments like that make me proud to be Indian.

TY for posting that middle of the sky, i was wondering if any of our Indians or Eskimos would be acknowledged, it is too bad that none of our people were ... makes you go, "hmmm". and that's right badmaninc - we still have the National Aboriginal Achievement Awards too.
