since its halloween :h3: season ..
whats the scariest movie you've seen? or
whats the scariest movie of all time? :p

i thought The Village was somewhat pretty scary (the parts where that yuck beast comes out lol) and i think the Exorcist is the scariest .. the uncut version, the one that shows it all :Chatter

I love to be scared and I get scared easily, so every scary movie has parts in it that make me jump or close my eyes, but the movies that make you think about it after are the ones that freak the crap outta me. Like House of 1000 Corpses by Rob Zombie, OMG! Thinking about it and how it could give some freak the idea to do something like that! After that movie and Texas Chainsaw Massacre, I hate the woods.

Any movies that have to do with possesion/devil stuff. So the Exorcist, some movie with Winona Ryder, also, the Shining I think is the scariest of all time in my book.

The book is way scarier!

Scary movies for me are....."28 days Later" and "Dawn of the Dead" (After I saw that I was so scared in the mornings after my husband would leave for work. I'd turn all the lights on and be all scared....for like three days in a row!) *L*

I love watching horror movies, but none's really caught my attention in being the scariest. The first Poltergeist movie was cool. Exorcist doesn't freak me out like it does my husband. I dunno. I'm still deciding.....

oh yeah! Texas Chainsaw Massacre was a good one too

I havent seen it but I heard God Send was pretty creepy.

I'll have to see the original TCM again to rate it's scariness :Chatter and I dunno if i'd watch The Shining again I think watching it once was enuff

YEAH!! House of a thousand corpses is just plain TWISTED and WARPED!! I posted a warning about that movie on here last year so folks would'nt get it for their kids ... it's just too much for those under 18 or 21 for that matter LOL! 28 days later was'nt scary but man it was freaky that's for sure... gave me ooogies.

For honest to god scary, gore does'nt necessarily cut it... the scariest 3 movies I saw were The Hitcher (yeah that COULD really happen), Alien , and PumpkinHead (cause it reminds me of a rez story). Now that last one might not be scary to you.. but I got my reasons why LOL... but man, the hitcher gets me every time!

Most "scary" movies actually crack me up and now they got the humor written in there on purpose ... anyone seen Jason X ??? Man that one had me ROLLING!!! Same with Freddy VRs. Jason.... downright comedic genius!!
