Favorite cartoon/comic

Time to bring up some old memories of getting up extra early on Saturday mornings or rushing home from school.
What was your favorite cartoon or comic strip when you were growing up?

I liked Tom and Jerry, and the older original Loony Toons but apparently was too violent.

I'll juss name a few fav's of mine....
"Carebears"
"Looney Toons"
"The smurfs"
"Scoobydoo"
and of course....."The Simpsons" haha
I know this wasn't a cartoon but it was also one of mah fav's
"Mr Dress-up" *hehe*

My favorite cartoon was Battle Of The Planets.. but I used to love watching Mr. Dress UP when i was in Niagara visiting my Gusud!

I loved to watch the Smurfs, Scooby Doo, Ed Grimly, Looney Toons, The Snorks. I would even watch GI Joe :tank: & The Transformers :20:. And I use to read Archie comics like they were going out of print, I don't really read them anymore but I still have about 13 years worth of them in my storage (maybe they'll be worth something someday). I also use to read Calvin & Hobbs, I loved Hobbs!

Inuk...C'mon now...what about Dudley Doright? and Rocky and Bullwinkle Da moose? Boris/Natasha...fractured fairy tales!!!ahhh love it!!!
These were (hell they STILL are!) some of my faves.....!

who is Bullwinkle Da Moose??? the only moose i know of ... is ... the one in my freezer ...

Inuk,
He was Rocky (the flying squirrel) 's sidekick...always had good sarcastic humor...and was kind of a 'straight man' for Rocky's antics...maybe he was a just a midwest thing...? Dudley was a Canadian Mountie...w/ a talking horse...he often rode backwards! Boris and Natasha were Russian 'spy' take offs..these cartoons were in the cold war era...tho they are shown sometimes now on some of the cable TV shows...
Much of the humor in all of these was poking fun at society at large...lots of sarcasm..wit..and double entendre....
Hope you see these guys on eday!

And She-Ra Princess of Power

And GEM when she had a show.

Oh and Pound Puppies........sooo cute!

But my fav. was Looney Tunes...I loved the different characters!!! Amazing comedy!
