How many of the pow wows dot com folks are parents, soon to be parents, grandparents.............aunts, uncles.............
my husband and I have our one three year old, I'm 42, Don is 51......so yeah, like, we're "up" there! and I have a twelve year old who stays in Ontario with his Papa and Gramma............so, I like to hear how parents deal with their children, especailly from a Native American point of view! Their are traditional ways of raising little uns, and the "mainstream" methods...........our sonny boy I HOPE will enjoy the benefits of being raised in a traditional manner............................lets hear it for any one who is a parent!

ummm i guess can you define the "mainstream" and traditional manner? LOL are you only implying on discipline or everything in raising "methods" lol. I never knew it was a method to raise a child LOL

just checking out pw dot com fer a spell.........hubby said, yer not on pw dot com again are you? i'm like......noooooooooo......mainstream is like waht is on tv.........you know, Ozzie and Harriet...........Traditional is like, what grampa and gramma did..............NAtive American traditional ways of Discipline, talking, playing, teaching.........singing..........songs........... toys?........my grampa and gramma raised the kids a certain way, we were raised with alot of everything, Native American and "Anglo" style parenting..............so i was wondering how many other parents still try to up-hold Native American styles of parenting? buh byes................. :38: :2: :dancing45 :h2: :h2:
