Though i was 9 yrs old ...

And I had no idea what this word "death" meant.

But I can still remeber "crying" when my mom told me that, "Elvis" died and he wouldn't be singing for us any more ... at 9 yrs old ... i understood that.

my lil' heart flowed with tears for I loved Elvis since I was a babe and still do.

I just wanted to pay respect to the Man that touched millions of people, from "all" walks of life, thru his music ... thru him.

I was a teenager when he passed, and still remember that night when my girlfriend Joette and I sat in her momma's camper, listened to his music all night and cried. At this age, I never realized what an impact he had on the world - incredible.

At least there are no more Elvis sightings - they are finally letting him rest. :)

Isn't it some thing ... how we remeber certain events that happen.

i didn't understand the impact Elvis had on the world either, (till i was growed up ... a few more years) but i knew ... it would effect my lil' young life.

Though i have been blessed with many travels, one day i am going to make it to Graceland. and the head lines will read, "Eskimo Found Clinging To Graceland Gates"
