When I'm at work I am automatically logged on and I'll get HUBZ hits from people I have no clue about. I won't even respond to those. It would be different if there was a button on the IM that let you look at the profile, but even then you don't know if what you are reading is legit. So, if I don't recognize a name, I ignore. Apologies in advance to those I do know who see I'm online and IM me and I don't respond. It means I probably haven't seen the IM 'cause my back is turned. My desk area is in a big U and when I'm facing out I'm facing away from the computer. Sorry.

I never go into HUBZ it is just that if I'm online someone IMs me and all I see is a box with their name, message, send and cancel; but I'll look more careful next time. Than ks.

It is the on site instant messenger system. You click on the box that says instant "messaging" then the names of those available on line shows up. You click on a name of the person you wish to contact and then you can chat back and forth.

Myself.. I don't respond to an unregistered name because they can tell me they are anyone and I wouldn't know if they were lying or not. Also, I have had people that have left the site or have been banned to contact me..... oh well.. you want to talk to me....... sign in.;)
