some places there no showers an they have those smelly green porti pootis or watever u call em an the men jus pee all over the seat an also the women r bad for that 2 an its jus digusting

Biting Insects, Poison Ivy, Barking dogs, when the mattress goes flat, running generators, leaking tent, forgetting the coffee, ...........

Drunks! This was a real problem back in the 70's when camping out at powwows; I was a kid then, but I sure do remember it.

I dont hate anything...but i REALLY dislike those nasty toilets...yes, i concur piss all over the place..smelly grossness! I dont mind the drunk door way singers tho...that is until they stagger around tryin to hit that high note & fall over on my tent....that's when i offer em a pack of smokes to move the hell on!

Definitely the "honey buckets" [who the hell thought up that name anyhow?] AND I remember a few, Grand Ronde OR comes to mind, in particular, where the wind came blowing over the mesa and if you didn't have your tent in good it took off; and even if it was staked in good it still raised up part of the way...along with the wind comes...dust. Yuck. Oh, and about those showers/bathrooms

it would be nice if they had lights in them? Bunch a naked women groping around in the dark at night is not a pretty picture...

Forsure without a doubt its the green porta potties, There is no lenght i will not go, distance i will not walk to go to use a washroom elsewhere. Who wants to go int here with there outfits on, esp, with side drops, U have to get almost completely undressed, so may as well go to the closest casino, or anywhere actually.

This explains why when I go for a walk at a woodsy pow-wow like Wellpinit, Siletz... I keep running into guys out in the bushes...

But i agree with ya'll .....i hear ya , the one thing that i truely hate is the porta potties !! ....ICK !!!!
Honestly when i use those pottie thing (or whatever)
i try to hold ma breath or just breath through ma mouth,cuz its sooo digusting ! and they have flies in them ,eww...
And also another thing is....using those porta potties at nite ...... u can't see nuthin' ! :candle:
And yes , i hate camping at pws that don't have any showers :Angry or if they do have showers ,sometimes the water can be too cold or too hot ! and last but not the least.....i HATE waiting in line just use the showers ! :wall:

i was at a powwow... shall remain nameless...
but the fam and i were camped out and there were buncha drunks wildin' out and when i woke up the next am to complain to security... i found the security guard passed out in his golf cart by the smoldering fire....
it was useless.... so needless to say, the fam and i packed up and headed out a night early!
