I tried to explain that we were broke, which she should get by now as we have a horrendous adjustable rate mortgage, and hung up on me. When I tried to call back, I got voicemail, and she didn't call back. My sister has tried to talk to her about calling me, but Mom thinks I should be the one to apologize - which I always have had to do growing up - whether I was at fault or not. Now, this happens, and I don't know whether to try to call my mom, or not.

I guess this explains why we who have families need to try to really work out problems, because when something bad happens to somebody - that's stressful enough - without all the guilt from the last argument we might have had.

My dad had an endoscopy this afternoon, and they found a tear in his esophagus. The doctor said it looks like it's starting to seal up on its own, so they didn't have to do any banding to close that off.

His blood counts have continued to drop, though, even since the bleeding stopped, and they're not quite sure why. They had to give him some more blood products this evening, but he's feeling a little bit in better spirits and starting to take some clear liquids. Maybe his blood counts just hadn't bottomed out from all the bleeding he did yesterday.

I continue to value your prayers for him and the rest of my family as well!

I would appreciate some prayer. Some of you know in January we lost our first baby, they couldn't find a heartbeat. I was 11 wks and they say the baby made it to 8wks. Well I am happy to say that I'm expecting again. I'm 10 wks and 3 days. When I was 7 wks I had the first ultrasound and they saw a heartbeat! My next appointment is this coming Thursday. They are going to do another ultrasound and try to hear the heartbeat. While I feel good about seeing our little beans heartbeat on the screen, I want to hear it. So I'd like for you all to remember us this coming week. Thanks

CanteLake: I just found this thread tonight. 6-2-07 I'm glad to see it here. it should be easer to find I found it by accedent. My Prayers are with you and your's. We are going to start a Red friday every Friday to wear something red for our boy's. I am chreokee and hinze 57. so all of you have me beat. Lot's of Prayers goin your way.

Ginger, I just found this thread. and have been reading the posts. You never replied or I missed it. How did your best friend do with her surgery last year. did tey get it all. and Drew is home now.

I saw on Wardancers 360 page his son came through the surgery okay.

I want to request prayers for my friend Jaime. He has to put down his wolf today. She has been with him for 13 years and has such bad arthritus and other health conditions that she can barely walk. He's absolutely DEVESTATED...hasnt had a lot of people in his life that stuck around so she is the closest to his heart. Please pray for him and for his wolf's smooth journey to the other side. Thank you all.
