Learned to drive when I was about 12. Our Grandpa used to let us drive the tractor to get the mail, about 2 miles. It was the highlight of our day!!! Got my license when I was 16, been cruisin' ever since. :3:

Learned to drive at about 10 or 11....my brother in law let me take his car when I was 13 all by myself around the rez..avoiding cops! LOL Got my license at 16.....

Same here.....my Daddy taught me, in a stick-shift at a parking lot....took me two days to catch on.....:driving:...I'll teach my son in a stick too.....poom-poom!

I learned when I was 13, driving all over with a stick shift at 14, learner's permit at 15, and my license on my 16th bday.

Umm.. it was suspended once cuz I didn't pay for my "speeding ticket"... :Chatter but it's all good now. Nice and Valid.

I NEVER wanted to drive. Ugh.. I always had ppl driving me around.. hehehe.. personal chauffeurs. :p I finally got my license when I was 21.. LOL.. The year I got my license was when I started driving on my own. Yup... Aside from a lil' cruisin' around on the rez when I was in my teens... I learned by driving myself to work everyday.... first time driver learning how to drive in the CITY. I didn't crash or get into any fender benders tho. *phew* and I never got pulled over. I was lucky.

So.. I'm going... on 3 years as a licensed driver. :Thumbs::p

I learned to drive on the rez when I was 13. I actually got my license when I was 17 and my daddy got me a 1981 Chevy Chevette... It was a manual transmission and he only tried to show me how do drive it once, then he refused to set foot in any of my vehicles until I was like 26 cause he thought I was such a scary driver.

I learned at 16, and got my driver's license at 16. I was used to someone always driving me around, so I was a late learner. I hate driving. When I got my first car I thought that it would change, but my opinion hasn't changed. I still hate driving, but between my husband and me, I drive the most.

I still have yet to get a speeding ticket *knocking on wood*. :p

I learned to drive an automatic when I was 16. Got my license when I was 17. And yes I failed my written test the first time I took it. I did pass during my second attempt.

I learned to drive a stick-shift when I was 18. My cousin taught me to drive his football (Ford Festiva) in the empty mall parking lots. Then we went to Oak Creek Canyon one Saturday. He wanted to stay and party with his friends, but I had to get back home for work that night. He told me to drive his car home, and amazingly I made it home... after a stranger had to show me how to start it! *LOL* :rofl2:
