MaggieB..I have one that is one of a kind :D & as long as you get someone who is really an artist & it's what you want to do , than go for it..;)
but..they are not only expensive , they are habit forming..:p
near the spine was the most painful for me but mine covers 2/3 of the left side of my back!!

shshonegirl..they say the butt is the least painful :Chatter

Go ahead and get the tattoo. Put it someplace where you can cover it with a piece of clothing.

maggie

Just don't get carried away and get all tattooed up looking like a biker chick LOL.

When my sis was 17 her boyfriend tattooed her nickname across her belly in big old english letters! When she showed it to me I was like What were you thinking? That's going to get messed up when you have your first kid. Well she had a son not too long ago and her tattoo didn't get all warped like I thought it would.

Do what you think is best on your own judgement not other's. YOU have to live with it not them. Just a bit of advise.

ANYWHERE that has some fat ;) ..thigh's a place that you can keep hidden when you need to & it's not too sensitive to pain as long as you don't do you're upper , inner thighs..

they say the underarms are the MOST sensitive place
all I know is stay away from parts near your spine & anywhere there's alot of nerve endings..;)

yah i figured the spine would be a pretty sensitive place...gots to be crazy to put a tattoo there!! Well, i know i want one, but i have narrowed it down to either on my chest, kind like right above my left breast or on one of my shoulders....I guess i have quite a few places it it has to have fat :p

for those of you that aren't aware i have a eyebrow ring that i do take out every day for work. not b/c they asked me to, but b/c I feel i look more professional with out it.

Should i get this tattoo?

It doesn't hurt. I thought it would hurt when I got my first tattoo, but it didn't hurt at all.
