Oki napiks, To answer that question the best i can. I would go to Siksika and or Kainai to ask them in a good and right way. I am from siksika they say to us that were the first prarire chicken dance was done with the siksika band before we were split into bands or something. But this dance as much meaning to our Niisitapi people and if you want to know about it you should go ask the right people and in a good way. I dance this and i have used Eagle Feather spinners before and used my pheasent feathers. No one has ever said anything to me about it. BUt best infor. i can give you is to ask our people in the north in kainai or siksika. aight.. Kitakitakmahtsin. IIpoyiin't

good advise...ask some1 that knows dont jus make up crazy rules
