Headbands

Can anyone advise as to how to secure a plum or feather to a headband so that it stays straight in place while dancing? I had to cut my hair very short and will have to use a headband rather than barrette. Thank you

You can sew the plum in, or make a leather tube that is sewn in to put the feather.
