O my Goodness
this year was awesome
i had so much fun on the powwow trail, although it rained everyweekend, but that didn't get me down, haha even at one the las powwows i went to for the summer was sunny and i said to my friends i missed the rain, it was friggin hot that weekend.

i met alot of people this pass summer, most of which i keep in touch with, others well its for the best, hahai really do not know what to blog about, maybe i'll start posting my journal on...

I am a lame and random blogger. It has been too long since my last post but I will try and update on all that has happened. I made it to Red Earth which was a lot of fun. Thanks to Paul and Stacey for taking me out to Toby Keith's I Love This Bar bar. It was great to see a lot of old friends out there (Jay and Kituwahsun). Really good singing out there as well. Got some videos up of it so check them out.

Next stop was a couple of local powwows in the southeast which are always a good...

The Lost Legend of a People...



This is one of the Lost Lumbee Legends, a legend now (sad to say) that may be lost forever. It is an Important one (I felt) for it told of a child of the Lost Colonists that even survived the Massacre and it tells of Jesus Christ and the Special Relationship the Lumbees had to God (The Crow), the same God of Isaac and Abraham that interceded in life here in the Americas as well.

I walked by the Old Lumber River today
And I considered all the beauty there
Such a Peaceful PLace--it trully was
Far removed from a World hard to bear

The River flows slowly much like "TIME"
So go the days of our lives here below
I came to the River to gain Renewal today
For I love this Old River So

The natives once camped by these Banks
