Carter's 3-Pack Lap Pads- Frog - Carter's - Babies "R" Us
Here's a link. After reading the comments it sounds like Gerber is a better brand that Carter's as far as unraveling. Lap pad: the smaller size Crib pad: the larger size I found one once that was larger even than the crib pad size. It was sized for a twin bed or something. And it was pure WHITE, instead of the cutsie prints.

I was also wondering what a lap pad was. my baby is 23 and I just used a receiving blanket for everything. I will look for a pk. What do you bead on it, like barrettes?

I don't use lap pad but a lot of beaders do. It has a rubberized coating on it which makes the fabric not breatheable. I heard someone used it as a base for leggings and found that it made their legs all sweaty. Should be fine for smaller items though.

It's like 2 receiving blankets with a layer of rubber in between. It's actually just rubber with a flannel coating on both sides.
Yeah, I DON"T recommend it for leggings cuz it does get sweaty (and will cause mildew if put away damp). It is good for thing like barettes, belt buckles, etc... Not recommended for moc tops either.

Heyyyyyyyy I wonder if I can use it as a belt. It's got rubber so it'll be like one of those exercise sweat suits. I can sweat off my lub handles and get rid of unsightly belly fat!!!!
Sorry I really couldn't resist.
