peyote beadwork tips?

I'm familiar with peyote 2bead beadwork I was taking my beadwork apart after breaking beads, when it finally came to me to just work another bead (daah) into the place where the bead broke in the previous row. Like someone would do to expand a project like a fan handle. so i was wondering if there are any other tricks of the trade anyone would like to share.

Don't use cheap beads, and I find it easier to reduce in size, rather than making larger. I start my peyote on the largest part of the project first...
