I need a beading help...

I was just wondering if there is anybody in the Vancouver - Lower Mainland area who is willing to teach beadwork or if you know of any beading classes happening. When I was young I remember my mom showing me how, but I have forgotten everything. I have been trying to learn from books from the library...

thanks

What exactly are you doing beadwork on? First, figure out what designs and what colors you want on it. If the design is really detailed, go w/ smaller beads. Make sure you use the right needle. The main thing is you don't want to have your needle breaking the beads. If you make a mistake and it gets you really frustrated, get away from it for at least an hour and clear your mind.

I think he/she is wanting to start with the basics. Sounds like it was years ago and yeah, getting re-started has to be a pain..

Here's an excellent site... I know going from books is rough for some.. what books are you trying to work from?
