Making Seed Beads?

Anyone ever watched the process of manufacturing Seed Beads? in real life or other media? There so tiny and fragile Why is there 1 off color bead in a hank ....for counting? I would love to see the process from start to finish. Please Post

I hav'nt seen it done, but I know how they do it. They make a bubble of glass and then stretch it really far and then break it into bits and then run it in something like a rock polisher with sand or grit to smooth it. At least that's how they used to do it... nowadays with them being so nice with big holes and uniform size and such they probably have a similar but better method. And I do believe the off bead is for a count...
