In previous threads, alot mentioned that they were working on projects for this upcoming pow-wow year. Since half a year has already gone by, did you accomplish what you sought to do?

I tried various projects at one time, but I'm sad to say that I didn't get them all done. Lack of time resulted in my unfinished projects, but I'm taking my time now to do the best I can.

I just thought I'd start a new thread since there has been little activity going on in this forum. Feel free to post whatever accomplishments you made this year or in the upcoming year!!!

Mine were all for one powwow and they were all for door prizes and raffles... and YES I got them DONE! It was hard and harrowing, but I succeeded with one day to spare!
Now I'm making a fan for my sister and beading it. It's taking forever too LOL! After that I got to do the fan I traded with Bum for. It's a macaw fan, just needs to be beaded, then I can post a pic and show off a combination of our handywork! HOw about you?

I was trying to get a large rosette done, but I dumped the beads all over the floor and there wasn't time to get more before the event. It's still waiting to be finished.

I just dumped beads the other day in the carpet..ugh i was so frustrated...had to find every lil one...can tell my beadwork is not getting far this summer!:(

i'm sure most of us have experienced the perils of fallen beads. Maybe we should take a moment of silence and reflect what those beads means to us when we can't pick up all of them or is lost in some itty bitty spider hole that we can't reach. We should remember those fallen beads for they are the ones who would have helped us to finish our beading projects. AYYYYYYYE! :good&evil

bUT....there are times when I've lost most of my hank of beads to not be able to finish. It sucks!

I've been doing pretty good! Cranked out beadwork, did some sewing, and now I'm gonna finish muh outfit so I can shake a leg (HAAAAAAAAAAAA) before pw season's over.

Noooo, I started a jingle dress for my daughter that I hoped would be done with by now, but to no avail it is still sitting on my table. I also need to make a new grass outfit for my son and thaaaaaaan...my husband wants me to replace the ribbon on his cape and apron. I am overwhelmed.

I am so proud to say that I'm almost caught up. Finished most stuff by the time our big powwow here started. Got the quilt done in time for Sundance last night. Have 3 little girls outfits to do by next weekend. Haven't started but it's looking good.
Have 3 more little outfits before Ft. Hall Festival. And one guys fancy stuff before Cheyenne Frontier Days. I better get busy!!!
Oh yes, I'm just about done with these fully beaded mocs I started last year. I'm gonna post a pic of the tops.
