I know exactly what you mean!!!
I have four kids and they each dance. Plus, I also dance. And of course there are times when everyone wants a new outfit or beadwork. I usually call up my sister and beg her to help me. With a little convincing she helps. I have lately incorporated my oldest daughter, husband, and a friend to help out. It has become a family affair and I really enjoy spending the time with them. Plus, we have turned out a lot of outfits and beadwork in such a little time. Sometimes I get amazed on how fast things can be accomplished with a little help.

Geez, when my twin daughters were graduating from high school, I beaded a complete set of mocs, leggings, belt, barrettes, and braid ties for them - FULLY beaded. And I made them both breast plate thingies AND two piece buckskin dresses with a little beading on them too. Plus I was working full time, but I was not above bringing my 'work' to work. It took me about 8 months, but I finished the last legging about a half hour before graduation.
Now it takes me a year just for a pair of mocs! :( |
