It's called Eazy Felt and it's made out of Union, SC. Pretty good stuff. comes in 12x18 inch sheets. It holds up pretty good from what i've seen.

Ive used it on quite a few things and I love it, so far its been really nice to work with, the needles slide right through, Im jsut wondering if over time it would start to decompose somehow... so I put some fabric on top just in case, like a cotton material just to reinforce the durability. It does seem that it would hold up pretty long though. I would also reccomend using a paper back on it just to keep its stiffness b.c I found with my sweaty hands after hours of working on it the humidity from my hands began to loosen it up a bit making it a lil more flexible then it shoudl be. Otherwise teh stuff is real nice to work with.

I bought a couple of sheets yesterday and found that this is just the stuff I need for making picture frames!! Yeah I can bead with this... easily.. but I think for things that will be handled "not so gently" I'll stick with the rubber sheeting... but for velvet covered things like purses and whimseys and picture frames... this stuff is the bomb! Thanks to the first person that was suggesting it... another great tip from you guys!
