Charge plenty! This work requires a high level of technical skill and knowledge of the correct techniques and materials to do the repair work and have it be as invisible as possible while not endangering the rest of the piece in the process. In addition, finding and using authentic beads and other materials isn't cheap either. When working on old pieces, it is common practice to use materials that are inert and methods that are reversable so that more damage does not occur later on. For an idea of prices, call a few museum conservators in your area- (nearest large city). Choose ones who specialize in ethnographic items. Most will want to look at the piece first to get an idea of what to charge. Some charge by the hour, some by the project. ALso, the amount of work you do will depend on how the item is to be used afterward. For example, something that is only going to framed and hung on a wall may require less work than something to be used for dancing.
