Beading Accomplishments

What is the most beadwork that you've accomplished doing? Or the proudest? Or is there anything else that you want to accomplish but haven't?

I beaded my own leggings, proud of them, tabs and all. beaded pretty much all of my regalia...alot of little things that most never notice..like the edge beading on my otter hat...

Well, I've done quite a bit of various beadwork, but I guess my proudest accomplishment is actually having to do 'em all. I've made 4 sets of crowns w/beadwork, another crown, hair ties, earrings, barrettes, necklaces, chokers, etc. etc.

One thing I've always wanted to do is bead a buckskin dress. I can't sew one together, and it looks like alot of work to do so, but I just want to bead one. I think that would be neat.

It's not my best thing yet, but I'm pretty proud of my glengarry hat. It was alot of work that I truly enjoyed doing. I've yet to get to wear it to dance though. Still got some owies from the car accident.

My proudest accomplishment were my purple earring that were supposed to look geometrical but ended up looking like pansies. I thought that was cool, because pansies remind me of my grandma. Unfortunately, I lost one of them at last year's Mesa PW. :(

My work:

Well, I did complete a whole Men's Northern Traditional outfit..using size 11 beads, that was something else. Took me like almost 2 years to complete. I have completed out fits for my children, like leggins, mocs, hairties, vests, side tabs, arm bands, leg bands, beaded purses, my own stuff...and stuff to sell..a crown out of size 13 cuts, lots of belt buckles, bolo ties, hair ties, chokers, mocs..etc. I think I like it when I can finally visualize the designs and how everything will go together and the colors are just right, and then doing something that is original yet unique..it gives me a feeling of wow..I can do that..you know. I also one day, some day would love to bead myself a beaded yoke..and one for my daughter..guess I have to start saving up for it..the beads I mean..I also love buying beads if I like the color or something and then use for something later..LOL..even if its just a couple of hanks I will still get it..wished I could bead 24/7 but its between classes and work..sigh..

I did the fill on my friend's northern traditional top that was all in 13 cuts. I made my hubby a complete men's fancy dance outfit outta 14 hex-cuts-not my choice-that he has never even worn. My proudest accomplishment has to be my baby-girls beadwork. I think it is truly beautiful.
