Well, this is a pretty interesting thread. You guys sound so cool and knowledgeable! A few months back I was in my kitchen and my husband was on the computer and I hear this song on the speakers and I was like "hmmm, who's that, sounds pretty good." Then I walk over to check it out and lo and behold it's these indian guys (and gal) with this cool video and I was completely blown away! It was War Party's One for All. I listened to the lyrics on that song and some of their other songs and I am just a big fan. It was so real and just hit a chord in me that it almost brought me to tears! As I was listening I was thinking, now this is what kind of "rap music" I wouldn't mind my kids hearing, something real and positive and that it was from natives, even better. I don't know all the underground stuff you guys are talking about but I really love War Party! They are cool.....
