Most Pueblo people speak a variation of two primary linguistic stocks, Keresan or Tanoan, Tanoan is divided into 3 sub-dialects as well being: TIWA, TEWA and TOWA. The Zuni Pueblo has its own language, unrelated to any of the others.

There are 19 pueblos in New Mexico today out of an estimated 127 villages at the time of European contact.

Taos pueblo is among the most traditional of all Indian peoples.

What pueblo are your people?

For that matter, what band of Blackfoot are you?
