There's hope out there!
My cousin, age 18 was recently diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia.
It is similar to leukemia, however without the cancer. It has been a rough battle for us all.
It has been 2 months and he is still in the hospital getting care. As of 2 weeks ago, we have found a bone marrow donor!
The doctors didn't give us much hope, seeing as he was "mixed blood"...to prove him wrong, we prayed harder.
He is still suffering in the hospital, I visit him every few nights. He is in isolation so he doesn't catch any infections.
The next step: Do the transplant. 80% success rate, that high percentage is on our side.
That's a lil story from my world! :)
I'm not one to pray, but something like this has shown me the way.
