Post Cherokees organizing powwow in Iraq

(from newspaper) "The pounding of ceremonial drums and adancers in colorful regalia may soon be deen on the streets of Iraq. Some members of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma who are soldiers serving in the country are organizing what is believed to be the first powwos ever held there or in the battle zone."

what do you guys think about this? my husband is about to be deployed and i dont think that it'll be safe if they were parading around the streets of Iraq.....but i do think that it'll give our natives a sense of being home and they'll like it (so my husband says)......but what r ur thoughs?
