My question for you would be do you mean 2 bead drop (which is often called peyote stitch) or 3 bead drop (which most folks call gourd stitch). Both are used to do beadwork on cylindrical objects. They are similar, but each is started a bit differently. The designs that can be made in each are different as well. The 2 bead form allows for designs with bilateral symmetry where 3 bead does not, but the designs that can be made in it are quite striking.
