One thing we shinobs do is have a blessing beforehand. Sometimes we go to a drum for it, sometimes the pipe, sometimes both. We might do it in the backyard, at powwow, or maybe out on the porch. Usually there is a feast involved - if we ask for this at powwow we ask early in the morning. A perk of asking early is there arent' as many people to feed ;)

That's how we do it over here anyhow. I bet you all do somthing close to the same over there.

some people will keep feasting their regalia - either once or twice a year. some folks do it seasonally - all depend on which part of the territory you are from. Asking local dancers is probably best, but I thought I'd chime in anyhow.
