A LOT, I mean A LOT of Oklahoma's famous singers, learned how to sing at 49's before they even thought of coming to the "big drum" at powwows.

Foxy Creek: the annual Sac & Fox powwow in Stroud has one of the biggest and best 49's in all of Indian country. It is one of the reasons the Sac & Fox powwow is so successful!
