heart braid

Hello,
someone asked how to do a heart braid, and i know how to do it i thought i would share :)
start by parting your hair in to two sections (just like you would normaly) then you divide those two sections into two, just above the ear. depending on the location you want your heart to start is where your going to want your seperations to be. (make sence yet?) Then i start the braid in the first section corner on the head (+) <-your looking at the back of the head.
i usally stand beside the person, or in front braid the hair up then gradually curve it around then back twards the middle. i usually braid it out to the end of the hair then tie it. then do the other side. then i unty both sides and go back to the end of both sides and then join them together. give it a try a few times before you go and display your work in public.:Chatter

Oh, also someone said something about having frizzies when they braid their hair. Normaly my sister has her hair put back when its wet so it breaks as it dries leaving her with a halo when her hair is braided. i found that the slick works by paul mitchell works wonders to keep it from doing that. you use a pea sized amount and you can add more or less depending you your hair. It holds her hair all day and she usally sleeps in it too. then she has crimped hair untill she washes it out. You can buy a cheap version of slick works at Sally Beauty Supply for about half the price that you would pay at the salon.
