I was married the first time at 19, and I was a virgin! I was taught that sex period, was something filthy unless it was between man and wife ......

A divorce later, and twenty one years of marriage to this husband has taught me, that it doesn't matter if you are married or not! It's whether you and your partner are ready for the responsibility that goes with being together, sex or no sex!!

After watching a friend of my daughter go through a pregnancy at 13 years old, my daughter and I talk alot about marriage and sex. I just told her that responsibility comes first, and farmost!! Then the rest will follow, only marry for the right reasons, and because you are pregnant isn't one of them! Wanting to be together the rest of your lives is! Pregnancy will come when it comes!

How old to have sex? Well that too comes with the wisdom of your matturity! If you are so immature that you can't wait for the right person at the right time, then live with what happens .... that sounds harsh but it's true!

Against the Bible? Define that!! The Bible talks about marriage and sacrement, but who decides you are married? Having some man say so in a crowd of people? Who gave that person the authority to marry any couple? Marriage is a peice of paper period!! You can be married, with no one saying it but YOU, The Lord KNOWS what is in your hearts! That is what you will be judged by!

I try to teach my daughter that sex without love is just that, sex. Love is what makes the sex wonderful! If you don't honestly love a person then it's nothing more than lust, and you will be sorry in the morning! Don't just wait to have sex, hold out for love too!

That and if she doesn't want to get pregnant, then I'd advise her NOT to do anything that can get her in that condition! All the Birth Control in the world isn't going to help NONE of them are 100% except ABSTINENCE!!!

Prime example of that is that my cousin had a vasectomy, his wife had her tubes tied and she STILL got pregnant! They won both suits against both Dr's and their daughter's education was paid clear up to her Doctorate's Degree in Medicine!
