WCAIMA has outgrown the capacity of the Chief Leschi School gym and, while other large venues were considered during the last-minute change including the Tacoma Dome and Emerald Queen Casino Special Events Tent, it has been decided to move the show up to the White River Amphitheater on the Muckleshoot Indian Reservation. MC is to be actor Robert Guthrie. I am told there will be lots of music from many styles as the line-up currently has rock bands, jazz artists, hip-hop, powwow drum groups, canoe families (coastal native drum & dance groups), even a classical violinist (Swil Kanim the "Violindian").
